Entry #3: The Cube of Snow

Image
I pick up a rectangular metal box with green border and a white center. When I lifted the box with my hand I noticed the sound of pebbles loud as thunder shaking inside. As I take off the lid I notice these white cubes rolling around inside the tin can box. As I pick up a cube inside my hand the surface feels like a sandpaper slowly getting scraped off by my skin. So I place the cube on my tongue, I chew at first but soon after regretted making that decision. The cube was as strong as a rock, I would have to slowly but surely use saliva to break the cube down. I could feel the cube dwindling as I notice my saliva starting to become as cold as ice, and whenever I put any liquid in my mouth it felt as if the coldest blizzard in existence was occurring inside my mouth. Soon after the cube felt soft and chewy I took a bite and bit into two. Which then quickly dissolved and put that cold feeling into overdrive mode as my saliva kept getting colder and colder. Doing so reminded me of how w

Entry #2: The Suns are going to the NBA Finals

Image
T he Phoenix Suns had a really good chance in making it to the finals, but now, they increased their chances immensely. About two years ago the Suns made it to the finals and they had two all stars in their lineup with Chris Paul and Devin Booker . This season the Suns are doing pretty average as the record is 30 wins and 26 losses, due to many injuries and other off-court situations that has been happening with the Suns. They were projected to get kicked out in the second round of the playoffs, but they recently acquired probably the best player in basketball right now Kevin Durant . This trade kicked the organization into full championship mode.    To get Kevin Durant the Suns had to give the Brooklyn Nets(Kevin Durant's former team) Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder, and four unprotected first-round picks. This was a large sacrifice for the Suns as Cameron Johnson and Mikal Bridges are both young stars that have all-star potential. But that is just how special Kevi

Entry 1: My Thrifting Hobby!

Thrifting has become a big hobby that I recently started. It has also become a big part of my relationship with my girlfriend. We both love clothes and dressing up in cool outfits. So thrifting becomes really fun when we are doing it together and showing each other the great stuff we get. I want to share all the cool places that we go to and have people find cool clothes they would like. So I’ll share some locations of the thrift “places”.   My girlfriend recently introduced me to The Goodwill Clearance center or most people call “The Bins”. The specific one we go to is located on 51st avenue and west Van Buren street. The Bins open at 8 am but if people don’t want to wait outside in a line for 2 hours I recommend getting there at 7am. The Bins are always filled with people no matter what day it is. The Bins are always a great place to go and are really cheap because they only charge by the pound. The bins are amazing but my favorite place is the Glendale Swap Meet located on 55th
